CNN Says Canada’s Gun Ban Doesn’t Go Far Enough

Compromise. That’s what we’re all asked for in the firearms world. Just compromise, they say. Well, Canada’s law-abiding gun owners weren’t even asked, they were told. Only a few days after a sweeping gun ban only affecting law-abiding gun owners, CNN’s Micheal Bociurkiw says they didn’t go far enough.

“While the ban includes mortars, rocket launchers and artillery, it does not include handguns, which account for the majority of police-reported violent crimes in Canada.”

Canada's national newspaper, the Globe and Mail, called Trudeau's response a ‘weak half-measure’.

Rest assured the gun banning groups will never stop reaching. 10 round limits will go to 7, then 5 (like Canada), then 1. “Assault Weapons” bans will morph into simply “Weapons” bans. Stay vigilant American gun owners. We’re done “compromising.”
